The News

Here we go again.The scandal and the News feed are full of all this political crap again. I am so sick of the news being taken over by all the funny business going on. They act like 6th graders.

I guess Netflix and my sewing will take over my mind. I think this will be a long Winter with all of this stuff going on.

Have you got a favorite music CD or a favorite TV show or movie you like to sew to? I watch Netflix and listen to 50-60's music.

Hope you all survive the next few years only to have it come up again. Sorry I'm tired of politics. Normally I don't say anything, but enough is enough.

I really can't count

I went into take this picture and moved somethings and found another quilt block that was finished. So I can't count. I guess I need to get more organized.  As you can see the pieced block is smaller than the appliqued block. Here is the dilemma do I use a background strip around the pieced block to balance the size? I can't cut the appliqued block to meet the size of the pieced block. I thought about using a neutral strip around the pieced block

 Or I can use the red to strip around the pieced block. Not sure which I will do.

 

It will be less than an inch and I don't know why I didn't pay better attention to what size I was making. I'm leaning towards the neutral background being added. What do you think? Chris

Maybe solved one problem.

I think I have solved my blogger problem. Not the way I want to, but I had to download Google Chrome to get the use of the Blogger dashboard again on my laptop.

I asked many questions before doing it, but no other choice for me at this point. So if you run into troubles maybe the way to go. I had plenty of room on my drive to download it. Chris

I tried to lay them out. I have one I'm working on, one prepped and I'm one short. Can't count. Chris 

Marching in the right direction

I got up this morning and decided to stitch. I found myself at the coffee pot for my second cup with the thimble still on. I'm in fact typing with it on my hand at the moment. Funny how it is like a ring on your hand you forget it is there. 

Little sewing on this one and the last one is waiting in the background. That is if I counted right, but I have been known not to count right. LOL. Feels good to getting something closer to being done.

I have many to finish, but what is a girl to do when she has this urge to start another one. This is pulling at my better judgement and screaming start me. I know go with the flow and it will be scrappy, but what am I thinking about?? My goal is to keep productive so I can see some of these done.

I have experienced a real issue with my laptop. I upgraded my Internet Explorer to IE11 about ten days ago. I keep getting this error message that my IE8 and IE10 are not on the same module run time. Well now my Blogger Dashboard won't function at all on my laptop. I can't post from there at all. I searched online and my efforts say Blogger is not keeping up with the new upgrades. It only happens with Blogger. I guess I need to figure out this issue because it is not fun to have to work around all the issues. I sent feedback to Blogger and of course no response.

I use IE because I have had so many issues with Google or Foxfire. Maybe will have to change, but then that sets off another firestorm of   issues of learning a new system. Has anyone else experienced this? I think I read others were having trouble with Blogger, but they don't go into details. I know I went back to a restore point in my computer, but the matter never changed.

I guess I'm not experienced enough to figure it out. The rough patches are like washboard roads with not shock absorbers on the old truck. Can you tell I'm old??

Dad was in court again today

Sole custody was gained today. So she offically is Daddy's and there is no denying this little one. Not that she was, but the court says so now. Chris
