Snow Snow go away

Scraps that I started cutting up yesterday

Messy sewing room said I would never take picture. Now I guess everyone knows I am a slob.

Can't even get to the sewing machine.

We woke up to about 4 inches of heavy wet snow. Glad I have a tractor to get it off the drive. Sad part is where to put it. We have still got snow on the ground and will for quite a while. Yesterday I got the scraps out and started cutting them to a manageble size. I cut pieces for applique, for 2 1/2 in squares and 1 3/4 in squares. I have containers full and more scraps to go through. My Mom said get rid of it all. Hey I paid for it and why not use it. So today I need to do some more cutting then after I get through the next batch I can clean more in the sewing room. How does a person let things go for so long??? LOL. I blame myself because I just didn't get in there and put things away. Now I have showed it to you all. It is worse than what you can imagine. Chris

My sewing room has looked that bad many times. I start cleaning by doing just one area and then walking away so it doesn't become overwhelming. Eventually it is all done. Sorting is the biggest job.

Your sewing room looks like mine.
I was all excited because I used up one plastic bin of scraps. The feat was short lived, because I then found 2 large garbage bags filled with scraps. I give up to a losing battle. I would much rather be sewing. The good news is, I won't have to buy fabric for a very long time.
