Nov. 1st

The girls in their costumes. Kate was a cow and autumn a pumpkin. They were in a Halloween parade and then yesterday they went to their Great Grandma's to visit with her.

The last couple years they were here.

In the 70's today and sun is out. Enjoy the Fall weather. Chris

Chris, I'm sorry you have been having such a no-so-great-time. I hope everything is better soon and that your health gets back to where it needs to be.

ADORABLE pictures of the granddaughters! How nice that you got to see them all duded up and spend time with them on this most exciting of holidays for kids! We used to be BIG Halloween people...but not now that we live on a lonely little mountain with a half mile driveway with a gate that gets locked every night. With Riley at college, we didn't even carve a pumpkin for our own amusement. Sigh. I am so sorry to hear that you are under the weather. I hope you are feeling some peace as you get your health ducks in a row again. I am really bad about getting caught up in my life drama and not taking care of myself. I have been trying to turn that around in the last 3 months. It is not easy! One day at a time, I keep telling myself as I work to give up chocolate, diet sodas and anything with fake sugar, etc. I have been dealing with gastric issues as well, but with no cause or diagnosis suspected. This damn election has pushed all my buttons and I have been increasingly anxious for so many months. I will be so glad when it is all over tomorrow...if it is, indeed, all over tomorrow. I wish you God speed on getting back to your creative routine. After 2.5 years of having to back off on the creative part of my life, I know it can be hard not to be able to create and be active in it. Hang in there! This too shall pass!
