Snowing again

A dusting is what they said. They the weatherman with no window in their office. LOL Over an 1 1/2 so far. But we are fortunate not to have the weather the East Coast is having. In the past we had storms like you are getting now. Back in the time listen to me I am really old here. 1978-1979 we had storms. We got 30 inches in one storm. We didn't know where to pile it. Just like the NE is getting now. As I get older I do not like this climate. Then on the other hand I don't like blistering heat and hurricanes and so I guess every part of the country has weather issues. 52 more days until Spring. I am ready for a big change around here. Off to the sewing room with all the lights on. I am going to find some jazzy music and do something even if it is wrong. Chris

Bad weather

This is the weather map for our area. I am about where the Rt 88 sign is below Madison Wisconsin. We are getting gusts of 55 miles per hour. Plus a downpour of rain and thunder and lightening happening.
No sleeping in this morning with all of this going on. We are to recieve winds up to 60-80 MPH during the rest of the day also. I think we will be in for the day. I drive a van so the risk of driving in the high winds isn't good either. Stay dry and out of danger. Chris

Was going to go take pictures

Today was my day to go out and take some more pictures of stuff in bloom. It is so gray and dark out, but they say we aren't going to get any weather. Oh life in the Midwest. Sunny one minute and gloomy the next. Frost advisory for This weekend. I want to have warmer weather. At least it isn't snow like Oregon is getting. The weather with all the flooding and the volcanoes and earthquakes are devastating compared to my gray day. My heart goes out to all the victims of these disasters. Good day to turn on the lights and get some hand sewing ready to take tomorrow. I have a purse idea with used denim for the body of it and some flowers added to update the look. Will show you more after I get the prototype made. Chris
