These are the 80 9-patches I made up a year ago when I needed to be sewing, but no plan was made. Well today it is made. 
I cut side pieces of 2.5 inches and made flying geese out of them. I cut off the backside of the triangles and stitched them for something else.
Here is how that process looks. 
I added the two strips on opposite sides of the block. 
The last set of strips I added a square on each end to make a star pattern. So I will go in and cut strips and make up more of these blocks.
I got yself upset today so I had to find something to distract me. Families and their issues. Never dull. Chris
