Ok Hettie here are pictures of this 8 X 11 ft. Room I use for a sewing room. I didn't take a picture of the closet. 
This is the opposite wall from the desk. I have so many things going on which is my fault, but I do try and place things back together for future finishes. My Mother's fabric is also included in this mess. So I did not purchase all of this.
I just keep cutting and sewing. Someday I will get to finishing some of this stuff. Chris

Thanks Chris I do appreciate and you do make use of every inch in your room. I think you know I'm doing the Flylady program (cleaning) and one of her favourite sayings is "you can't organise clutter" but I feel my fabric is not clutter and I can organise these by making quilts!
Hopefully I will get there soon!
project boxes.... if you have a project that you're going to put aside, give it a designated box. take a simple box,cover it in some pretty paper (get a roll of gift wrap paper you like) glue a label, or better, a picture, of the project on the box. contains all your materials for the project together and boxes stack well - and they're free :-)
