This is the quilt I need to finish. I had quilted in two sections then connected them and went back to quilt where they joined. Now that is done so I can add the borders and not have so much bulk in the opening on the machine. I have done several this way and it works for me. My shoulders can't handle the queen size quilt by pushing and shoving the quilt.

This is the detail of the simple quilting. Mind you this is for a teenage so I needed to secure as best I could. I will get the borders pressed and sewn on today. I will do a seamed edge of the backing, batting, and top borders so I can work on the outside edge of each border. I will take pictures as I go.

Here is the new string blocks. Many more to go. As you can see it is a riot of color. Not sure of the setting I will stitch the blocks into yet. As I get a few more of them completed I will audition a layout. This one I know will be a twin sized quilt for Autumn. The finished one is for Taylor and she has a queen sized bed.
Today after I get my running done I need to cut more pieces to get some variety in my buckets. Also I have many more pieces to get used up.
I spent an hour and a half on the phone with the Social Security Administration trying to get all my business done. How come nothing is easy anymore? Hopefully I will get it figured out soon.
Stay warm today. It is snowing another Saturday. I want Spring. Chris
