Slow work

Someone asked me if the roof was that bad. Well here is a picture of the shingles that were on the roof of the garage. It was only an eleven year roof. But it was really bad, but didn't leak. All done now and worth the work.

This is a slow moving sewing job. I need a slow moving couple day to regroup. I have tons of strips cut out. I tweak the ones I use so cut one here and there for the color choices I have picked to do on the dark side of the block.

I think is really using a lot of stash on this project. Which is a good thing. Sometimes I see the fabric laying there and thing I should save this, but why. There will be more down the road.

Depending on which direction you look at these blocks makes it look different. Is it light or dark? I think this is going to be couch quilts, but with sons that are over 6 ft. tall it ends up more like an extra long twin quilts.

Hope this idea is a good stash buster for you. I'm sure I am not the only one that has come up with this block. Can't give credit to anyone on this block. But enjoy the process. Chris
